Conclusion / Feelings of this FORECASTING PROJECT


After doing this project, I think I know more about Dolce Gabbana. I think all of the designer are also very capable and can afford many sufferings, because they need work very hard to fight on the market, there are many and many competitors , if they just lazy for a moment, they will lose many chance. Actually I know there are many competitors in every industry, but they will have little bit time to correct their fault. However, there are no chance and no time to correct the fault, if you get a wrong predict, not only you will lose your job, also it will involve your company get a big amount lose.
I think color forecast is quite interesting, but if I have choice, I will not choose this job, I think there are too much pressure, I feel the pressure from color forecast is bigger than other industry. However, I want I will have some friends work in this industry, I can learn many things from them. I prefer jobs which are about business more.
Moreover, I want to say that I love color, I can feel colors have their life, it can effect the emotions of people. My favorite color is green, this color can make me relax and calm down, when I am very tired, look at the green things can give me energy. I also love buying clothing in green color. Even it is quite difficult to match with other color, but I still love it!!Lastly, I hope the fashion designer will keep going on to create more and more clothing, even I may not buy, but I will admire their achievements. It’s because all the collection may come out behind many night-long. I am not interested in fashion trend before I take this subject, but now I am more interested in my future job.

News about Dolce Gabbana

The wait is over! Yes this week fashion supremos Dolce & Gabanna are launching their first ever make-up range. With a waiting list already set up for those that couldn't bear to be disappointed, it is set to take the UK by storm. Sexy advertising shots of Scarlett Johansson have already been gracing some of our top glossy magazines, and with one of the beauty industries biggest names behind the creation - it's bound to put the M into Must-have make-up!

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana both worked personally with make-up artist Pat McGrath who has been creating show-stopping looks for big-wig designers for over 10 years now. Pat helped Domenico and Stefano create a range that captured their inspiration as designers yet was soft, feminine, elegant and oh-so glamorous. Each product is set in a metal gold case and looks like something from a 1950s boudoir. We love the mascara which creates fabulous lashes and also the blusher which gives your cheeks that perfect flushed look. Get admiring glances as you do your make-up on the train and feel smug...very smug.
My feeling:
I think it'll quite popular, there must be many fans of Dolce Gabbana wait for the make-up of Dolce Gabbana, the cosmetics are very attactive, use gold case, it looks very grand and high fashion.If have the chance i want to try these products, but i make up very less, just make-up when the important meeting like the wedding party, so i will not buy those product actually.

Forecast for Dolce Gabbana 2010

After seeing many collection of Dolce Gabbana , now is the time let me to forecast the fall 2010 ready-to-wear of Dolce Gabbana.I guess that the BLACK and WHITE must be the mainly color in the 2010’s collection. It’s because these two colors are ‘never die’ color and the important of Dolce Gabbana, most of their collection use these two color for the mainly color. Expect BLACK and WHITE, I think it will also include some outfit use for DEEP GREY color, it’s because it can match with BLACK and WHITE and very harmonious. The dominate color must be BLACK, WHITE and DEEP GREY. Besides, it will also include some element with LIME, SKY BLUE and LIGHT YELLOW, because LIME can make the out fit more eye catching, it may be the sleeves or some checked pattern use its color. For SKY BLUE, it’s a very comfortable color I think, it’s make people who see it and will relax more, so add some SKY BLUE in the 2010’s collections can make people relax more when wear or see the out fit to reduce the stress. Lastly is the LIGHT YELLOW, it can be a perfect match with LIME , because they are complementary color scheme, it can make the LIME not to shine and reduce the contract between the dominate color and LIME. Also because of Dolce Gabbana less use these color, so it will be popular in 2010’s collection.

Analysis:These two gays people can combine 2 different culture and create a brand, it is quiet fresh to me since I know that many brand only based on one culture, I think many people do think same as me since their collections are very fashionable and creative.Even the relationship of these two gay people is broken. However, they still keep doing business of their brand, I think it is quiet good, since this brand have a long history, it start at1985, if I end when their relationship end, that mean 2005, I think it will be very regretted.Also, as Dolce & Gabbana is full of enthusiasm, color contrast and the adoption animal pattern cloth and emphasize outstanding, it give people a high value of the brand. Also, the design is very lofty, I think the color use of this brand is always have those basic color plus some sharp colour, such as pink and sharp blue. This brand is quiet different from other luxury brand such as LV and Gucci, since LV and Gucci will not frequently use the same color but Dolce & Gabbana will.

However, in this collection there are some out fit use the SHARP PINK color, it's very eye catching, i love those of the SHARP PINK out fit also, if wear it on the street, it must be the most attract person.At the last few out fit, there are a face on the dress, it also very eye catching, the shape of the dress and the face are very match, i choose these three out fit are the best out fit in this collection because after i see this out fit, i remember it and will not easy to forget it.

This collection is very shiny, why i said that? It's because the textiles use in this collection are some light reflection fabric.Most of the dress in this collection are just knee length, just some of the out fit are long dress, i think the econmics of 2007 is quite normal because someone said the as short as the dress, as bad as the economic.It's quite funny.
The mail color use in this collection are still BLACK and WHITE, actually i love these two color very much,these two color are easy to match with other color.

However , black and white is a perfect match color, actually this two color can't said be a kind of color, it's no color,this two color are many people favouite clothing color.

This collection use more color, and the whloe collection are more COLOURFUL,make the whloe feeling not very boring.
At first , the out fit are mostly use DULL color and become more and more BRIGHTNESS.I love the last few outfit more, it's because i love BRIGHTNESS color than DULLFUL color.The picture of the last few mainly WHITE color are very smart, the whole frame are full of white,and the materials use in are quite light, so that's make the out fit more graceful.
However, the whole collection are very nice.
